Here’s a walk through the city of Oslo. Apart from the modern Opera house we visited Vigeland park with its more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and wrought iron. We walked throuth the city center, explored the Norsk Folkemuseum – an Open-Air Museum with historic buildings – and the Viking Ship Museum. Here are some impressions:
Thanks to Christine and Anders I had some wonderful days in Oslo last week. The first morning there I took a ferry boat ’round the islands of Oslo. The sun glistening on the sea, the colorful cottages on the islands, the gigantic sailing ships along Rådhusbrygge … what a nice experience.
